Change is coming in 2014  for the Coyotes. We already know of the pending name change from Phoenix to Arizona, but what about the uniforms? Craig Morgan of Fox Sports Arizona, reported that the team will be sporting a 1996 throwback Aztec jersey next season for at least one regular season game. It’ll be a refreshing blast from the past for  fans that have  followed the team since their inaugural season in Arizona.  But could there be more in store than just a simple throwback night? The possibility exists that more than just a change to the shoulder patch may be coming in the near future.  But just what would an updated  style look like? Perhaps Coyotes owners Global Spectrum may tap into the retro look from the 90’s, while combining the current look with a little Southwestern flavor.  Here’s one concept of what an updated uniform could look like for the desert dogs. 2161d312c4342f559ee818a548fc6a7f-d58ih9y.png

No matter what happens to the appearance , the team’s identity will remain unchanged. The fans in Arizona  still have their hockey team and the support for Coyotes Hockey has never been greater!
