It’s looking like Ales Hemsky of the Edmonton Oilers just might have found a new home.

According to TSN’s Bob McKenzie, the former 1st round pick in 2001 is on his way to the Ottawa Senators for picks.

And as of 12:20 pm Alex Hemsky is now an Ottawa Senator.

Reports coming from Bobby Mac is that the Oilers will receive a 3rd in 2015 and a 5th round pick in 2014 in exchange for the Pardubice, Czech Republic native, who’s been bogged down in the mud in Edmonton, and joins a Senators team that watched this same Ales Hemsky score two goals.

With Hemsky, the Senators receive another scoring asset who’ll help out guys like Jason Spezza and Milan Michalek, but have to wonder how healthy will he be, having been subject to a few knee injuries. The Oilers who continue to rebuild.
