It ended as the fifth-longest game in Stanley Cup Final history, and thanks to Andrew Shaw, it ended in victory for the Chicago Blackhawks. Shaw’s deflection of a pinballing puck that started out as a Michael Handzus shot from the point gave Chicago the win at 12:08 of the third overtime period, and a 1-0 series lead for the Cup. The teams were 7:52 away from having played two entire games in one. Check out Shaw’s winner here:
