WATCH: Blackhawks fan steals Adam Pardy’s helmet

  • Joe Ray

When a glass pane gets knocked out during a hockey game, the fans usually end up worse off than the players. That wasn’t the case at the end of Wednesday’s game in Chicago between the Blackhawks and Jets.

With 6:27 left in the 3rd period with the Blackhawks up 4-1, Chicago forward Brandon Bollig checked Jets defenseman Adam Pardy into the boards, and Pardy fell into the stands along with the glass, which remained intact. However, Pardy got trapped in the stands as the players on the ice surrounded him, and the fans in Chicago decided to have a little fun with Pardy and share a drink with him. Check it out:

Surely the fan with the helmet on his head got a game misconduct and was removed from the arena. For what it’s worth, Pardy took the whole situation with a grain of salt.

Luckily, this didn’t get any uglier, as confrontations between fans and players have gotten heated in the past.
