Congratulations to Tim Lincecum for recording his first ever no-hitter against the San Diego Padres. When attempting to make history, everything has to fall into place. One mishap and the game is no longer special. Each no-hitter can pinpoint to that one play that causes a scare. Well the what if almost happened in the eighth inning when Alexi Amarista hit a screaming line drive down right-field and here comes Hunter Pence to the rescue.

Pence will forever be link to Lincecum’s no-hitter as he indeed made the catch that preserved the no-hitter.
