Chris Young (and the Oakland A’s) had a rough week against the Major League Baseball worst Houston Astros. For Young, two nights in a row, he was denied what was inches away from a walk-off home run. On Tuesday night, his potential 2-run game winning home run was just foul (he struck out to end it). Then on Wednesday night, Astros OF Robbie Grossman sized up the wall and made an amazing catch with two outs in the bottom of the 10th inning. So amazing, Chris Young looked like he didn’t believe it, and actually asked to see the ball as Grossman strided by him on the way to the dugout. Watch, courtesy of CSNHouston (via MLB.com):
The Astros strolled away from their second straight win in the 11th. The A’s got revenge on Thursday with a 5-0 shutout, but still lost the series.
