And as you saw, his left wrist seemed to get twisted awkwardly during the landing.  According to the AP via, Puig said through an interpreter that he thinks he’ll be fine:

“We’ll see how I feel tomorrow before the game,” Puig said through a translator. “I’ll take some swings and we’ll decide then.”

The Dodgers are the hottest team in the National League, with a franchise record 13-straight road wins and wouldn’t want Puig to miss much time. But with that being said, they’re positioned well to make the post-season without much challenge from the toothless NL West and could get healthier if former MVP runner-up Matt Kemp gets healthy. His removal from the game on Saturday seemed to be more precautionary, so the youngster should return to the lineup sooner than later
