Bobcats Coach Paul Silas Shoves Tyrus Thomas Into Locker

We all know about the Bobcats struggles, and we all know how much professional athletes and coaches hate losing. Well, it looks like it may have come to a head finally for the miserable Charlotte Bobcats.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski, Coach Paul Silas shoved Tyrus Thomas into his locker  after their loss Sunday against the Celtics. Apparently, Thomas was being chummy with some of the Celtics players, and coach Silas was not too pleased about it. The two got into a verbal argument which ended with Silas shoving Thomas into his locker.

Listen, Paul Silas is an old-school, hard nosed basketball coach, and Tyrus Thomas is a new-school basketball player. The new generation of NBA players have been facing each other since they were teenagers, so the chumminess that enraged Silas comes to no surprise. There is definitely a generational disconnect between a guy like Silas and a player like Thomas, but shoving a player into a locker may be taking it too far. However, that shove may be the most emotion a Charlotte Bobcat has had all season.
