According to Patrick Sicher of BlackSportsOnline, the son of Rick Patino, Richard Patino will take over the head coaching basketball job at Florida International University. Richard Patino will be replacing Isaiah Thomas who was let go by the university this year. FIU hopes that this new and young head coach will bring new energy to the program. One thing’s for sure, he definitely has the name working for him.
