Chael Sonnen is always talking. Even after a loss, he’s bumping his gums. But when he wins, he’s even louder.
After an impressive performance on yesterdays UFC debut on Fox Sports One, where Sonnen quickly ended Shogun Rua’s night with a guillotine submission, he took his time to dedicate the win to his grandmother, then praised himself before calling out Wanderlei Silva.
“Right here on the UFC’s new home, FOX Sports 1, Wanderlei Silva, 6 feet tall and 205 pounds,” Sonnen said to Joe Rogan. “Boy, until I met you, I didn’t know they could stack crap that high.”

Rogan interrupted there to ask a question that Sonnen quickly answered before offering Silva a fight within three months. and leaving the cage.
It didn’t stop there, however. After things were wrapped up, the UFC sent out a tweet quoting Sonnen calling out three different fighters.
“I would beat up Vitor (Belfort) on the way to the Octagon to kick Wanderlei’s ass, and [Lyoto] (Machida) in the parking lot on my way to the afterparty” Sonnen said.
I don’t have a problem with a guy boasting after a big win, because it takes a lot of talent and Sonnen is truly a great fighter – but I have to draw the line somewhere. He’s taking it a bit too far calling out three guys in one night.
What do you think? Should Sonnen tone down a bit or keep talking?
