Chris Young kept the Yanks playoff hopes alive

The New York Yankees kept their faint playoff hopes alive tonight with a dramatic win over the Tampa Bay Rays. Former New York Mets outfielder Chris Young hit a three-run bomb to win it for the Yankees in the bottom of the ninth. Up until the eighth inning, the Yanks were being no-hit by Ray’s pitcher Alex Cobb, until Young broke that up with a double.
