College Game of the Week Cheerleader Preview: Week 2

  • Jim Racalto

With all due respect to the Texas A&M Aggies and the Florida Gators, the biggest game of the day in the SEC and the country is happening in Columbia, MO Saturday night. The Georgia/Missouri match-up is the game that could actually have some impact on the SEC title race this season. The winner gets an immediate big leg up on everyone not named South Carolina and should be riding high into the rest of the SEC schedule.

Plus, let’s not forget this is the first SEC game ever for the Tigers. And it’s at night. On national television. Columbia is going to be hyped up, and the Dawgs are not going to want to be the first notch on Mizzou’s SEC belt. Add all of that to a couple of high level cheerleader squads and you’ve got yourself College Game of the Week Cheerleader Preview material.

I personally think Georgia’s cheerleaders and dancers are underrated. They may not all be gorgeous Southern belles like the girls at Ole Miss, but they have plenty of talent to compete at the upper levels of College Cheerleader Heaven‘s cheerleader wish list. Especially hotties like Rachel. Meanwhile Missouri is trying to prove they deserve a place at the big boys table by running out their version of the Golden Girls (that’s right LSU, you’re not the only school with Golden Girls). Mizzou may not have the national cache of Georgia quite yet, but girls like Kayla, Karielle and Avery are hoping to change that soon!

So who ya got? Dawgs or Tigers? I’m going Tigers for the upset!
