WATCH: Marlins try two runners on third versus Nationals

  • DC's Finest S.K.

In a play straight out of the books in 8 and under little league baseball, the Miami Marlins pulled one heck of a gaff in Wednesday’s game versus the Washington Nationals. Two Marlins, Logan Morrison and Donovan Solano, both slide into third base in the top of the 6th inning. Logan Morrison was caught in a run down while Solano was coming from first base making it all the way to third. In the end, shortstop Ian Desmond tried to tag both players but ended up only getting Morrison out. Bizarre play for a pro team to say the least.
