Anthony Rendon doesn’t watch baseball on TV
So it seems like Anthony Rendon doesn’t like watching baseball. Well it’s a good thing that Rendon doesn’t have the same feeling towards playing baseball as he does watching it.
In a recent interview with the Washington Post, Rendon said,
“I don’t watch baseball — it’s too long and boring.”
The former Rice Owl didn’t even watch the All-star game; Rendon would rather spend his time watching the History Channel. Even though he is batting .287 with 13 home runs and 53 RBIs, Rendon didn’t make the All-Star team.
But Anthony Rendon didn’t fret about not making the All-star team, he said,
I have a bed at home waiting for me to sleep in. It’s a good four-day vacation. We have a long season ahead.
It is a good thing the Nationals’ second baseman is taking some time off. He needs the rest, especially after playing 89 out of 93 games this season. The rest will definitely help Anthony Rendon make the spectacular plays he made in the first half of the season. It will also show the Cardinals manager Mike Matheny that he deserved to be on the All-Star roster.
