The Bryce Harper marketing locomotive is full steam ahead.  In the same week that an innovative new Bryce Harper Gatorade commercial was revealed, a new Major League Baseball commercial spot has been released and is set to air on this weekend’s nationally televised baseball games as well as MTV2 and the MLB Network.  The 30-second commercial is shot in black and white with a vintage Forrest Gump feel, and stars Bryce Harper as a ‘ball player’ mixing it up with the likes of Babe Ruth, Ted Williams, Carlton Fisk, and Nolan Ryan throughout the decades.  The “For the Love of Baseball” commercial spots will also feature Robinson Cano and Prince Fielder, while David Price, Mike Trout, and Andrew McCutchen have had their spots already released.

Seems like Harper is becoming a marketing machine for the Washington Nationals and Major League Baseball!
