Do the Eagles have something special planned for DeSean Jackson?
Washington Redskins new wide receiver DeSean Jackson says that he will be circling two dates on the calendar when this season’s schedule is released, and it’s not hard to guess which two games those will be. Speaking on the Arsenio Hall Show, DeSean had the following to say about the Eagles and this upcoming season. “Two times, not once, twice. I’m sure those two games, there’s gonna be something special about those two games, for sure. I gotta definitely go up on that.” Jackson also added that he was still miffed by the decision of the Philadelphia Eagles to release him, saying “Basically, [Kelly] told me ‘I think it’s best for the team and I think it’s best for yourself [to part ways]. We’re gonna let you negotiate with 31 other teams.’ So I’m like ‘Are you sure?’ I asked him one more time, I asked him what’s the reason, he said that’s what it was. I’m like, let’s get it started, let’s get it going.”
Will the Eagles have something special planned for Jackson as well? Needless to say, Washington’s two games versus Philadelphia will involve all of the typical fireworks, plus some.
