Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III was cheering for Argentina during the game.and posted a picture of him wearing the jersey of Argentina’s ‘quarterback’, playmaker and captain Lionel Messi, although slightly altered. It has ‘RG III’ on the back and not ‘Messi’.
It’s worth noting that both Messi and Griffin have endorsement deals with Adidas. Messi also wears the number 10 jersey for both club and country.

Since the Netherlands had two penalties saved in the shoot-out, is it safe to assume that Tony Romo was wearing a Holland jersey?
