Redskins ink safety Ryan Clark to one year deal
After a few weeks of speculation and some interesting twitter responses to Redskins fans, safety Ryan Clark has reportedly agreed to a one year deal with the Washington Redskins. This deal comes on the heels of the team hosting free agent wide receiver DeSean Jackson.
Ryan Clark, a former Pittsburgh Steeler, comes back to the Redskins where he originally started his career. Clark will shore up the safety position and help teach the younger guys (Bacarri Rambo and Phillip Thomas) how to play the position.
The terms of the deal haven’t been disclosed, but it can only be imagined that it is probably only a little bit higher than Brandon Meriweather’s deal.
