Robert Griffin III uploads his first Instagram picture
It’s the NFL offseason and Robert Grifffin III is in the news. Historically that isn’t a good thing for fans of the burgundy and gold. However, this has nothing to do with RG3 supposedly being ahead of schedule following an injury or oddly rapping about “Pop Rocks and Tootsie Pops.”
On Saturday, Griffin announced on Twitter that he was joining Instagram, and that his first post on the image sharing website would be uploaded on Sunday and is, “dedicated to my family, friends & fans.”
So what was Griffin’s post? It turns out it wasn’t as exciting as fans might have hoped (or dreaded). On Sunday at 2:06 p.m. ET., Griffin unveiled the RG3 Adidas logo. The logo will be put on Adidas athletic wear. According to Mike Jones of the Washington Post, Griffin worked closely with artists from Adidas to design the logo.
What do you think of the logo? Tell us in the comments.
