Evgeny Kuznetsov is getting a U.S. Visa
Now, although Evgeny Kuznetsov has made many hints on his plans to join the Washington Capitals, this may just be all the proof we need. A few days after Kuznetsov reportedly said, “It’s been decided for a long time now, there should be no questions. I won’t even stay for $10 or $15 million. The people [in Washington] have been waiting for me for three years. They write to me, fly over here. I’m an honest person and will live up to the word I gave them,” the 21-year-old forward posted all the proof we need to assume that he will be making the trip to DC.
Just before 9 PM, Kuznetsov tweeted a photo of an email that he received from Capitals’ general manager George McPhee’s assistant, Ashley Weber. Although this post has since been deleted by the young star, the email contained letters that were filed for visa applications for Kuznetsov and his wife Nastia.
Kuznetsov captioned the tweet in a Russian, saying, ” THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT LETTER!!!!” It finally appears that Evgeny will be getting his big break in the NHL by joining the Caps, but no reports have released when he may be making the trip across the pond.
