PHOTO: Capitals prospect carves “Nightmare before Christmas” esq pumpkin
Some people enjoy Halloween while some people are already looking forward to Thanksgiving and Christmas. In the NHL, Thanksgiving isn’t celebrated by many considering most players aren’t American. Washington Capitals prospect Andre Burakovsky took to twitter to show his celebrating of Halloween. He carved up a pumpkin that had a “Christmas type look” to it.

The pumpkin carved by the young Erie Otters forward looks eerily similar to Tim Burton’s character Jack from “The Nightmare before Christmas.” Either way, big props to Burakovsky for his handy work with the flimsy knife that we all get to use while carving our pumpkins. You can be the judge on the comparison, but to us here, it looks like he was inspired by Tim Burton.
