Well, if nothing else it appears Cousins at least has a passion for animals, notably his pet bulldog. Can’t always say the same thing about Cousins on the court, but it’s nice to see that Cousins has a soft side.

It was discovered by Ailene Voisin, of the Sacramento Bee During the Kings’ 127-102 loss to San Antonio on Wednesday. Voisin, noticed something that appeared to be hand-written on the white rubber on center DeMarcus Cousins’ sneakers.
“R.I.P. Roscoe.”
When asked about it, Cousins explained that his 18-week-old bulldog died last week after suffering an allergic reaction to a bee sting. Cousins would go on to say:
“He just collapsed in his crate while I was on our last road trip,” Cousins said. “We had an autopsy done and everything because we wanted to know what happened. The (veterinarian) said it was from a bee sting.”
Cousins did say he will be in the puppy market soon though.
There is a reason they say dogs are a man’s best friend. Poor guy.
