Deron Williams hits Gerald Wallace with half court bounce pass

Despite the Brooklyn Nets tough home loss to the Chicago Bulls in game 7 of the first round of the 2013 NBA playoffs, the game still managed to bring the fans plenty of highlights, including this pass and finish put together by teammates, Deron Williams and Gerald Wallace.

After Nate Robinson coughs it up on one end, the Nets start a break that finishes with a slick bounce pass from Deron Williams, who hits a streaking Gerald Wallace for the big flush. This nice example of teammate came with about 7:10 to go in the first quarter and tied the game up 9-9.

The Nets showed some fight, but ultimately looked like the road team in this one, as the Bulls asserted their defensive will and came away with the 99-93 victory and advanced to meet the Miami Heat in the 2nd round of the NBA Playoffs.

Joakim Noah steered the Bulls’ ship with a big 24 points, 14 rebounds and 6 blocks. The Bulls won game 7 on the road without Derrick Rose and Luol Deng. This team is well coached, and plays every game with heart and determination, which was ultimately the difference between them and the disappointing Nets in their inaugural season in Brooklyn.
