Deron Williams poked some fun at the Knicks via Twitter
That Deron Williams is quite a character, right? The Brooklyn Nets point guard was hosting the first annual Dodge Barrage in New York City to benefit Point of Hope Foundation when he made some playful tweets. Williams started it off by making fun of the age his new coach, Jason Kidd. Last season Kidd was rumored to join his buddy Williams with the Nets, but opted for the Knicks instead.
Then Williams fired off a tweet that will certainly get Knicks fans fired up.
Knicks fans instantly called Williams out for his lack of playoff success. The Nets have seemingly had the best of the “beef” and with the new acquisitions of Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Jason Terry, they could very well back it up on the hardwood as well. One thing is for certain, these games are going to be fun to watch.
