Details emerging on Colin Kaepernick incident in Miami
Slowly but surely, details of what actually took place in a Miami hotel incident involving San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick are starting to emerge.
Apparently, 49ers receiver Quinton Patton and Seattle Seahawks receiver Ricardo Lockette were also present, as the three have been training in Miami getting ready for the 2014 season.
Per Cover 32:
According to a police report obtained by radio host Andy Slater of Miami’s 940 WINZ, Lockette called 911 twice that night when an unidentified woman refused to leave his apartment. Although the report was not made public, Miami Police Department confirmed to CSN Bay Area that it is accurate and has declined to comment further.
Friday Kaepernick took to Twitter to refute a TMZ Sports report that said he was under investigation for a possible sexual assault, saying it was “completely wrong.”
The unidentified woman said she went off on her own to a bedroom because she felt light-headed, remembers Kaepernick kissing her, and then she woke up in the hospital.
This is why people should never believe the first thing they hear. It has been confirmed Lockette called 911 because the woman wouldn’t leave, yet Kaepernick is unfairly under fire for sites like TMZ jumping the gun.
There have been no charges or arrests, as the investigation is ongoing.
