Adrian Peterson could be back in time for Vikings’ minicamp
Adrian Peterson could be back in action as early as Vikings minicamp in April April according to new Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer. Peterson had surgery on his groin at the end of January and has been rehabilitating since.

Despite carrying several other minor injuries during the 2013 season, including ankle and hip injuries, and the mental anguish following the death of a son he didn’t know he had early in the season, Peterson still rushed for 1,266 yards and 10 touchdowns.
Peterson had hoped to break Eric Dickerson’s single-season rushing record in 2013, a record he was nine yards short of breaking in 2012.
It’s positive news for the Vikings who are embarking on a new chapter in their history with Mike Zimmer as head coach. Having the all-time leading Vikings rusher and face of the franchise back quickly can only help speed up the transition.
