Last June, San Francisco 49ers linebacker Aldon Smith and former 49ers tight end Delanie Walker threw a party. The night ended with Smith receiving minor stab wounds while trying to break up a fight. Today, the party is coming back to haunt Aldon Smith and Delanie Walker.
According to NBC Bay Area, Smith and Walker have been named in a lawsuit from a man who was shot during the party.
NBC Bay Area reports Ronndale Esporlas has filed a lawsuit against the pair for the events of the 2012 party. Esporlas claims that Aldon Smith and Delanie Walker repeatedly and illegally fired weapons on numerous occasions during the party.
Esporlas argues that Smith and Walker drank numerous amounts of alcohol and were legally drunk before the night was over. The lawsuit says that Smith and Walker knew the handguns were purchased illegally and began to fire them into the air towards the end of the party.
Esporlas claims that Smith and Walker appeared on the balcony and later the driveway and fired their handguns into the air to disperse those at the party.
Aldon Smith’s attorney did not return phone calls from NBC Bay Area about the incident.
