Bills rookie Sammy Watkins exits Steelers game with rib injury

  • Pistol Peat

A bright young rookie on the Buffalo Bills roster, wide receiver Sammy Watkins, exited Saturday’s preseason game against the Steelers with an apparent rib injury.

Watkins received a lick from the number four overall pick, Ryan Shazier resulting in an incomplete pass, followed by some pain as # 14 nursed his ribs and walked slowly back into the locker room with trainers.

Watkins is a hopeful on this stagnant Bills offense to ignite it and become a threat in a difficult AFC East.  Needless to say, this injury is a cause for concern for the Bills Mafia.  We’ll keep you updated on any further information on Watkins’ injury.
