Brandon Lloyd would entertain playing for Patriots under Josh McDaniels

In an interview this afternoon with Pro Football Talk, Free Agent WR Brandon Lloyd said that he would like to pursue a deal with the Patriots and play under Offensive Coordinator Josh McDaniels. “Yes, I find that very interesting. I would like to entertain that and see where it goes.” Lloyd said when asked if he’d like a McDaniels reunion. Lloyd, who entered the league in 2003 racked in his best season as a pro in Denver under then Head Coach McDaniels in 2010 with 77 receptions and eleven touchdowns. After McDaniels was fired by the Broncos, he went on to coordinate the Rams offense. Midway through the 2011-12 season, Lloyd was traded from the Broncos to the Rams and he was reunited with McDaniels. Could we see another reunion in New England? Time will tell, but we do know that Lloyd is all ears.
