Aeneas Williams Announced as 2014 Hall Of Fame Finalist
The news of Aeneas William’s bid as a finalist for this year’s Hall of Fame class wasn’t kept secret for very long. Arizona Cardinals insider Kent Somers leaked to his Twitter followers this afternoon that the retired 14-year veteran corner who played in the NFL for the Cardinals and Rams has in fact been announced as one of the finalists.
After being inducted into the Arizona Cardinals’ Ring of Honor during the 2008 season, Aeneas Williams has now become a finalist for the 2nd time after he failed to make it into the Hall Of Fame last February. A spot in the 2014 HOF class would definitely be a defining moment for the retired all-pro safety and corner.
