Brian Cushing says he’s 100% healthy for the Texans
Houston Texans linebacker Brian Cushing has played a grand total of 12 games out of a possible 32 over the past two years due to knee injuries ending his season prematurely. In 2012, he tore his ACL ad in 2013 he broke his fibula and tore his LCL.
On Wednesday, the former Defensive Rookie of the Year tweeted that he is ready to go for the Houston Texans in 2014 and is 100%.

This is good news for the Texans who will want Cushing back to full fitness ready to help the team ounce back from a disastrous 2-14 season in 2013. The Texans appointed Bill O’Brien in January to be the teams fourth head coach.
In an interview with SiriusXM NFL Radio and reported by CBS Houston, Cushig is excited to be back and ready to play.
“I’m just looking forward to playing football again, getting back, playing the game I love and putting forward a full 16 games.”
You have to wonder however, after o many knee injuries, is Cushing the same player he was? Both knee injuries happened in the same knee.
