Buffalo Bills to honor slain fire fighters with ‘WWFD’ decals
On Christmas Eve, a man in Webster, New York, set fire to his house in order to lure firefighters close enough so he could shoot them. The shooter killed two firefighters before turning the gun on himself during the early morning blaze.
Volunteer fire fighters Michael Chiapperini and Tomasz Kaczowka were killed. Two other fire fighters were shot and seriously wounded.
Today, the Buffalo Bills announced they will wear WWFD decals to honor the two fallen firefighters
The decals, which read “WWFD,” will join the “S.H.E.S.” sticker on the back of the Bills’ helmet to honor the 26 victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting that occurred in Newton, Conn., on Dec. 14.
