Video: Carolina Panthers defensive end ejected for throwing a punch

  • Brett

Carolina Panthers defensive end Frank Alexander has been ejected from the game today after he threw a punch at Seattle Seahawks tackle Breno Giacomini. At first, Alexander pushes Giacomini in the face and then follows that up with a punch.

This isn’t the first time a player has been ejected for throwing a punch. Last season, Atlanta Falcons defensive end Ray Edwards threw a punch but was not ejected from the game. In 2011, Richard Seymour was ejected after he threw a punch against the Oakland Raiders.

Alexander had 3 sacks and 18 tackles for the Seattle Seahawks last year.

For today, he will have to spend the rest of the game in the locker room.
