The owner of the Indianapolis Colts Jim Irsay has to be one of the most positive NFL owners. During last year’s playoffs, Irsay took to Twitter to give away money to whichever fan correctly predicted the final score of certain games. Since then, Irsay has continued to engage fans on Twitter, especially over this year’s off-season. Now, it appears as though good guy Irsay is back to helping others.

On Thursday, it was reported that a Colts themed bar, the Blue Crew Sports Grill in Indianapolis was closing due to a $75,000 rent debt. Irsay did not taking long to offer his help. Taking to Twitter, Irsay posted that he was going to pay owner Randy Collins’ debt so the bar could stay open.

Needless to say, Collins was more than excited to hear about Irsay’s generosity.

“Yeah, it’s a miracle,” said Collins, who is in Missouri working on a construction job. “I’m speechless.

“He’s throwing me a lifeline, and I’m going to grab it. I want to get home and hug my wife (Cyndi) and tell her. I love my Colts. I love Jimmy Irsay right now.”

“I can’t put it into words what this means to me,” Collins said.

The Blue Crew Sports Grill caters to Colts fans with a 19-by-20-foot white horseshoe bar and blue walls filled with player jerseys, pictures, posters and other team items.

Jim Irsay is slowly becoming my favorite personality in the NFL.
