The son of NFL great Cris Carter, Duron, transferred from Ohio State to Alabama in April of 2011 but had trouble receiving any playing action. Duron’s only action came from the practice field. A few weeks into the 2011 season, Nick Saban noted Carter might not make it out onto the field at any time during the year. Then spring ball came and went without any signs of Carter on the field.
Now we have this coming out of Tuscaloosa,
Nick Saban on Duron Carter: “He will not play for this football team. Period.” Truly incredible to watch someone piss away so much talent.

The rest of the Saban quote on Duron Carter: “That guy refuses to buy in to what we teach and what we value to be successful.”

Carter was rated a four-star recruit out of Fort Lauderdale by Rivals, making him the 11th-best receiver in the country. The 6’3 possession man mustered 176 career yards for the Buckeyes in 2009.
