DeSean Jackson tweaks ankle, likely will miss preseason game
DeSean Jackson just came off the field. Tweaked his ankle during light 11-on-11 work. He's with the trainers now.

The injury came during 11 on 11 team drills during practice but head coach Jay Gruden does not seem to be too worried. Washington’s official twitter account tweeted out this message after practice.
Gruden: @DeSeanJackson11 got "cleated" and "twisted his ankle just a hair." He's questionable for tomorrow's preseason game.

Jackson is not the only player that Washington will be without during their first preseason game on Thursday against the New England Patriots. Wide receiver Pierre Garcon is also injured (hamstring), along with safeties Phillip Thomas and Ryan Clark will all sit out of the game.
After having a tremendous season last year in Philadelphia, DeSean Jackson might be rested as a precautionary measure. He totaled 82 receptions for 1,332 yards and 9 touchdowns. Washington will need his big play ability once the season starts and hopefully will not risk further injury.
Thursday night’s game against the New England Patriots is a home game that will start at 7:30 PM EDT.
