According to the NFL Network, the New England Patriots have agreed to a four-year deal with their first-round pick Dont’a Hightower. The financial agreement has yet to be disclosed but the network is estimating his rookie contract to be worth around $7.7 million with around $6.2 million in guarantees, based on the other picks near him who have already signed.

Hightower recorded 234 tackles, including 21 for a loss, with five sacks during his 44-game career at Alabama.

With the signing of Hightower, the New England Patriots become the 15th team to sign all of their 2012 draft picks. The signing came just one day before the rookies are set to report for the Patriots training camp.
