With twenty seconds left in the first half of the AFC Championship, New England quarterback Tom Brady scrambled out of the pocket to pick up a few yards. At the end of the play, Brady kicked his leg up a little too high and looked to be intentionally trying to kick safety Ed Reed who was pulling up to avoid hitting the quarterback.

Ravens safety Bernard Pollard had a few words for Brady trying to intentionally kick Reed.

Instead of being mad, Reed says he has no hard feelings against Brady and that the quarterback even called to apologize after the game.

According to ProFootballTalk.com, Brady texted Reed after the game to apologize.

“We talked actually not too long ago, we talked on the phone. He actually reached out to me, texted me,” Reed said, via ESPNBoston.com. “I tried to text him back, but the message exploded after 12 seconds, so I had to call him … and he’s just apologized and what not. But I told him, ‘You know, it’s good, man.’”

Reed went on to say that he doesn’t think Brady is a dirty player and that “emotions get going in the game.” NFL spokesman Greg Aiello told the website Tuesday that “any play of that nature is routinely reviewed” so Pollard might yet get his wish granted.

I am sure Reed is just happy to be in the Super Bowl and could care less about Brady trying to kick him.
