Ex-Falcons running back Jamal Anderson arrested for drunk driving
Ex-Falcons running back Jamal Anderson was arrested Sunday morning for drunk driving. According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, “Anderson, 39, was driving so slow he was impeding traffic, according to DeKalb police. He was pulled over at 4:30 a.m. on Chamblee Tucker Road near I-85 and taken to DeKalb County Jail, where he was released later Sunday after posting bond.”
They further added, “Anderson, who maintains a home in Atlanta, has been in and out of trouble with the law since his retirement from football. In February 2009, an off-duty police officer said he witnessed Anderson snorting cocaine in the bathroom of a Buckhead bar. Anderson was arrested and charged with cocaine and marijuana possession, though those charges were later dismissed, according to his attorney, Jerry Froelich.”
Earlier this year, Anderson joined more than one hundred former NFL players who sued the NFL for allegedly hiding the dangers of concussions from them. One has to wonder if Anderson is suffering from problems he received during his playing career.
