Fan who bet with Rodgers would take a game check to settle it

Yesterday, the internet dug up a Twitter conversation between Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and Twitter user Todd Sutton. The pair were discussing the possibility that Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun used performance enhancing drugs. During the Twitter exchange, Rodgers told Sutton that he would bet his yearly salary that Ryan Braun was clean.

As Braun was suspended by Major League Baseball for the rest of the 2013 season, it appears as though he was guilty of using performance enhancing drugs.

And apparently Todd Sutton did not forget the wager he made with quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

While talking to USA Today, Sutton says he would accept one of Rodgers game checks to settle the bet between the two.

“I’d just take a game check,” Sutton told USA TODAY Sports on Tuesday, laughing.

If, for some reason, Rodgers decided to pay Sutton one game check, he would end up paying him $281,250.

Rodgers signed a $66 million contract in April.

Rodgers has yet to comment on the bet between himself and Todd Sutton
