Fred Jackson pessimistic about Steelers joint practices
The Buffalo Bills will be traveling to Latrobe, PA this week to take part in joint practices with the Pittsburgh Steelers. They will practice Wednesday and Thursday together with a rest day before their game on August 16th.
Fred Jackson expressed his displeasure of having the combined practices. According to Joe Buscaglia of WGR 550 in Bufalo, Jackson had this to say on Sunday when asked if he was excited for the upcoming week.
“No not at all, it’s just going to be two days of games. It’s going to be a game on Wednesday and a game on Thursday then on Friday we get a day off and then a game on Saturday, but it is what it is, we’ve got to do that and get through it and take every possible advantage of it and get better.”
Fred Jackson also got in the faces of a few defensive backs during practice Sunday afternoon, including safety Aaron Williams. Fred may have just been in a bad mood, so we should take his statements with a grain of salt.
The Bills will resume practice at St. John Fisher College on Tuesday at 8am before heading out for Steeler country. We will all have to wait and see if both teams can come out of these practices without any major injuries.
