ABC 6 out of Philadelphia is reporting that New York Giants linebacker Dan Connor was arrested at Philadelphia International Airport earlier this morning. According to WPVI, Connors was arrested at 9 AM this morning for carrying a switchblade knife.

Connor was charged with possession of an offensive weapon.

Connor, who played with the Dallas Cowboys last season, signed a one-year deal with the New York Giants this off-season.

Connor was drafted out of Penn State by the Carolina Panthers in the third round of the 2008 NFL Draft.

The NFL or the New York Giants have yet to comment on the situation.
