On Thursday, the New York Giants lost to the Chicago Bears 27-21 to fall to 0-6. This is the first time the Giants went 0-6 to start a season since 1976, when the team went 0-9 to start the season. With all of the losing in New York, some players are going to take it harder than others.

Corner back Terrell Thomas tells The Star-Ledger that while some players can lose and go about their day, he struggles to sleep when the team loses.

“Yeah. Everybody is different. Some people can lose a game and go about their day very easily. Others can’t sleep at night. I’m one of those guys. I didn’t get home until 4:30, and didn’t get to sleep until about 6. I was just laying in bed.”

Thomas also told The Star-Ledger that he believes some players care a lot less than others about the 0-6 start.

“I think some are, I think some don’t care. Who knows? I know one thing, this team is going to fight and not going to turn against each other.”

During the interview Thomas went on to add that the team’s coaches need to coach harder and players need to make more plays.

“Coaches better coach harder, they better put us in better situations and the players gotta make plays. That’s how we’re looking at it, and that’s how it’s going to be around here. We’re not pointing no fingers, but if we lose, we lose together.”

The 0-6 Giants have the 1-3 Minnesota Vikings next Monday and have plenty of winnable games left.

Although if the Giants continue to lose, according to Thomas, plenty of teammates will not care.
