Jerry Jones: “Watch us beat the Giants’ asses”

Jerry Jones: “Watch us beat the Giants’ asses”

Last year there was a bit of NFC East trash talk between some teams.

Okay, a LOT of trash talking between the teams as it is every year in the division. It started off with Rob Ryan speaking about the Eagles saying “I don’t know if we win the all-hype team,” Ryan said last year.“That might have gone to someone else, but we’re going to beat their ass when we play them.”

The Eagles fired back saying it was nothing but motivation and they’ll use it as such. Ryan came back with “If they need my motivation to get ready to play us, then we’re gonna kick their ass anyway,” he said. “It ain’t going to matter.”

Now, another member of the Dallas Cowboys is joining in on the trash talking while Rob Ryan takes a break from it all, and this time it’s not aimed at the Eagles.

Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones told fans at a ceremony kicking off the Cowboys Training Camps in Oxnard California that they were going to beat the Super Bowl Champion Giants’ asses.

“Y’all should come to that (Cowboys) stadium and watch us beat the Giants’ ass,” Jones said. His Head Coach however, might not feel as brave as Jerry, saying “We don’t make any guarantees around here,” He said. “We’re going to work hard every day to put a great football team together. We’re in the process of doing that.”

But he did say that Jerry has all the right in the world to do so, “Jerry Jones owns this football team,” Garrett said. “He has owned it for 23 years, so he can do anything he wants.”

The Giants are 3-0 playing in the new Cowboys Stadium, and they hope to keep the streak alive. We’re hoping this don’t come back to bite anyone in the rear like it did to Rob Ryan last year when the Eagles embarrassed the ‘Boys in a 34-7 beatdown in an October matchup shortly after the comments were made.

He’s learned from his mistakes. “Day 1, I’m not calling anybody out,” Ryan said. “I’ve learned. This is a bigger media than some of the other spots that I’ve been, so I’m going to keep my mouth shut and work.”
