Jim Irsay plans to attend owners meeting in Atlanta
Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay has gone off the grid since entering a facility to receive treatment after being arrested with drugs on him. However, a report from Stephen Holder of the Indianapolis Star indicates that Irsay plans to be at the NFL owners meeting in Atlanta later this month.
According to Stephen Holder of the Indianapolis Star, Colts COO Pete Ward said Irsay plans to be at the league’s owners meeting in Atlanta later this month, and make a presentation on behalf of the city’s Super Bowl bid.
For Irsay’s presence at the meeting to even be possible, his condition must have improved and he is indeed getting the help he needs. That’s the hope around Indianapolis, anyway. With the draft two days away and the season looming, don’t expect Irsay to be gone for too much longer.
