Michael Vick: I talked to Marcus and it won’t happen again
During Monday night’s game against the New Orleans Saints, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick had a rough night. His offensive line looked to be one of the worst in the NFL. As the game was playing out in New Orleans, Michael’s brother Marcus was taking to Twitter to ask that his brother be traded.
Today, Michael announced that he has talked to his brother and that it will not happen again. Vick also said that he does not agree with what Marcus tweeted.
“That’s not me,” Vick said. “If it doesn’t come from me . . . I’m in the middle of a full-fledged game. I don’t know what’s being said. I don’t know what’s going on. But I definitely got it corrected. We definitely had a serious heart-to-heart conversation.”
Marcus Vick tweeted an apology on Tuesday, apparently after his big brother had told him to, and Michael said on Wednesday that he’s confident his brother got the message.
“You’ll never see that again,” Michael Vick said. “Trust me.”
