Paul Kruger agrees to $40 million deal with Browns
The Browns are trying their hardest to make their team competitive next season. First, they brought in a new head coach in Rob Chudzinski. Then, they brought in defensive coordinator Ray Horton. Now, the Browns have agreed to a $40 million deal with former Baltimore Ravens defensive end Paul Kruger.
Kruger had 9.0 sacks in the regular season last year and 4.5 sacks in the post-season.
Another benefit of this signing for the Browns is taking away a defensive player from the division rival Baltimore Ravens.
Kruger will hope to blossom in defensive coordinator Ray Horton’s 3-4 multiple fronts defense.
