Russell Wilson’s 2012 rookie season for the Seattle Seahawks was nothing short of miraculous. I don’t think many would have predicted the third round, seventy-fifth overall, draft pick would have led his team to an 11-5 regular season record and a loss in the NFC Divisional round of the playoffs.

If you were impressed with Wilson last year, Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll says just wait until this year.

I think it’s going to be Russell Wilson,” Carroll said. “I think he’s going to really do well this year. He’s going to bust out and will benefit tremendously from his first year. It may be hard to imagine he’s going to get any better, but I think he’s going to get a lot better, being he was a first year starter, first time in the League.”

It is hard to imagine that a rookie quarterback who led his team to the playoffs can be any better, but it makes sense.

After having a full season under his belt, Wilson should improve on his 26 passing touchdowns and 10 interceptions.

With the addition of Percy Harvin, you would have to expect Wilson to look even better in 2013.
