Peyton Manning will be living in Mike Shanahans house
The news that Peyton Manning was on his way to Denver surfaced a few months back, but now that he’s settled in and ready to go, he’s finally able to call Denver home.
After taking over Tim Tebow’s job, Manning will be taking over Mike Shanahan’s house as well
Bill Williamson of ESPN.com reports that Peyton Manning is staying at Mike Shanahan’s mansion. Manning and the Redskins Head Coach (former Broncos shot-caller) have a deal in place that would allow Manning and his family to stay in the 35,000 square foot mansion until he’s able to find his own
mansion place in the city. It’s a short 20 minutes away from Broncos headquarters.
The mansion was built by Shanahan after Broncos owner Pat Bowlen called him a ‘Coach for life’ and right before it’s completion in 2009, he was fired. it is located in the Cherry Hills Village and is said to be in one of the fanciest neighborhoods in Denver. The house was built with an Elevator, a Bowling Alley and a 3,600 square foot garage. I imagine you can squeeze a car or two into it.
Hopefully Manning has his own place in the 2013 season when the Broncos and Redskins meet up, possibly in the Mile high City, or they might have to share a bed in such a small house!
