Reports came out earlier today that Oakland Raiders owner Mark Davis has met with representatives in San Antonio about possibly relocating the team to Texas. While the Raiders have been involved in a number of relocation rumors, none of them have been linked to moving to San Antonio.

Following today’s reports about the possibility of moving to San Antonio, one Raiders fan has already started an IndieGoGo campaign to help buy the Raiders a new stadium in Oakland. The description describes the passion of the Raiders nation in hopes of helping to secure money for a new stadium.

Raider Nation is a fan base that runs so deep and is SO passionate about its beloved team that the thought of the Raiders leaving Oakland is just obscene.  Because of the deep love and the worldwide presence of Raider Nation, I think it would be completely possible that the fan base pulls together and donates to help their beloved team build a stadium and hopefully keep the Raiders in Oakland!”

With the goal of $200 million, I do not expect the owner of the campaign to exceed the goal. However, some brave soul has already donated $40 dollars to the cause. In other news, I am starting an IndieGoGo campaign in hopes that people will give me free money.
